It is official!

 

We are the largest Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) sponsor for participants from western developed countries.

 

On 6th February 2026, we received a call from the Ministry of Tourism MM2H One Stop Centre and were informed that our company Alter Domus (MM2H) Sdn. Bhd. was one of the top five sponsors for the new MM2H for the year 2025. We were not informed of which position we were in, but we were very happy indeed. All our hard work since COVID paid off.

 

An appreciation dinner was held in Sunway Resort on 13th February, four days before Chinese New Year. At the dinner, we were informed that Alter Domus (MM2H) was ranked third.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our clients who have entrusted us with their MM2H application and to all our staff who have made this possible.

 

The following list are the top five MM2H sponsors for the year 2025.

The other four companies focus on China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Asian markets. This is markedly different from our company. As of February 2026, there are more than 240 registered agencies for the new MM2H and approximately 170 are active. There are only a handful of companies that focus on western developed countries, and they are not on the list above. Therefore, we are the oldest and the largest MM2H sponsor for western developed countries.

 

We have a very large client base for legacy pre-2020 MM2H that numbered in thousands. Since 2004, as we do not have official data, we always mention, “We are probably the largest MM2H sponsor for western developed countries”. I guess we can now drop the word “probably”.

 

Approximately 12% of our clients are from Singapore (we considered Singapore as a western developed country as well), 10% of our clients are from China and Taiwan and 10% from the rest of Asia (Indonesia, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Japan, etc). The remaining 70% are from Europe, Americas and Australia/New Zealand. We have a group of dedicated staff who can speak/read/write Chinese as we still have clients from Chinese-speaking countries. We do not do roadshows to China or Taiwan showcasing MM2H and properties as our clients are from the internet and referrals from existing clients.

 

Alter Domus (MM2H) Sdn. Bhd. sponsors only MM2H visa and are not into student visas, education, PVIP, medical or real estate. With laser-sharp focus on MM2H and customer service, we are the only company with branches (we called them MM2H Centres of Excellence) in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru so that we can serve our clients better. Our headquarters in Penang is a three-storey commercial building. We have approximately thirty employees.

 

We start off in 2004 and have been focusing on western developed countries ever since. Our strength lies in our proficiency in English, and we have been providing great customer service ever since.  It is rare indeed to find a company that grows from strength to strength for more than twenty years.

 

Alter Domus (MM2H) Sdn. Bhd. was proud to hold the first MM2H license number MM2H/001 issued in 2006 and MM2H/810, issued during the relicensing exercise in 2024. We were the first legacy MM2H sponsor to be issued this new license. There are only three companies from the first twenty MM2H companies back in 2006 that are still in business today, and we are one of them. We are the only that grew leaps and bounds.
