Partial Fixed Deposit Withdrawal

Existing MM2H applicants can make a partial withdrawal from their MM2H Fixed Deposit after one year of their first endorsement for four purposes: purchasing property or a new car, medical treatment at clinics or hospitals, and education for their children under MM2H in Malaysia. The maximum withdrawal limits are as follows:

  • (For existing MM2H) RM50,000 for a RM150,000 Fixed Deposit.

  • (For existing MM2H) RM150,000 for a RM300,000 Fixed Deposit.

  • (For eMM2H) RM500,000 for a RM1,000,000 Fixed Deposit.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR PARTIAL FIXED DEPOSIT WITHDRAWAL

  • Authorisation Letter from the principal – Must be signed by the principal.

  • Copy of the MM2H Approval Letter.

  • Copies of all old and current passport particulars pages of the applicant(s), along with all MM2H visa pages – To confirm the continuity of the applicant(s)’ MM2H visa.

  • Copy of the MM2H Fixed Deposit Bank Lien Letter.

  • Copy of the MM2H Fixed Deposit bank slips or certificates.

  • Latest Fixed Deposit Bank Statement showing the current MM2H Fixed Deposit amount and interest on maturity – It must be stamped "CTC" (Certified True Copy), signed, and dated by a bank officer.

  • Release Letter if the applicant originally applied for MM2H through a previous agent/sponsor that is still active.
    Note: Due to impersonation fraud, if there is a change of agent/sponsor, a Release Letter from the original agent/sponsor is required to absolve them of responsibility for the MM2H applicant. The applicant can request the letter directly, or Alter Domus can assist with the request. However, previous agents/sponsors may charge a fee for the Release Letter due to the loss of potential clients and business.

  • Personal Bond (for each applicant), if they did not apply through Alter Domus – We will assist in purchasing this free of charge.

FD Withdrawal for Property Purchase in Malaysia

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FIXED DEPOSIT WITHDRAWAL FOR PROPERTY PURCHASE IN MALAYSIA

  • Copy of the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA or S&P) for the property – Must be dated after the first endorsement. We will assist with the certification free of charge.

  • Copy of the payment receipt issued by the housing developer or relevant stakeholder.

  • Proof of payment – A bank statement showing the payment for your property purchase (the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter must appear on the statement).

  • If the property is completed, a utility bill (such as from TNB, PBA, IWK, etc.) with the address of the purchased property is required.

All documents must be provided to us at least 2 days before our first visit to the MM2H Centre.
The processing time for partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal submission at the MM2H Centre is 1 working day. It will take at least 3 to 5 working days for the partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal to be approved. We will provide real-time updates on the status of the submission and approval.

FD Withdrawal for Medical Treatment/Expenses in Malaysia

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FIXED DEPOSIT WITHDRAWAL FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT/EXPENSES IN MALAYSIA

  • Cumulative medical bills for approved medical expenses from the clinic or hospital – Must include the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter.

  • Proof of payment – Bank slips and a bank statement showing the payment of medical expenses (the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter must appear on these documents).

The processing time for partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal submission at the MM2H Centre is 1 working day. It will take at least 3 to 5 working days for the partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal to be approved. We will provide real-time updates on the status of the submission and approval.

FD Withdrawal for Education of Children under MM2H

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FIXED DEPOSIT WITHDRAWAL FOR EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN UNDER MM2H

  • Cumulative education bills from the institution – Must include the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter.

  • Proof of payment – Bank slips and a bank statement showing the payment of the education fees (the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter must appear on these documents).

The processing time for partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal submission at the MM2H Centre is 1 working day. It will take at least 3 to 5 working days for the partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal to be approved. We will provide real-time updates on the status of the submission and approval.

**FD Withdrawal for Car Purchase in Malaysia

**NOTE: If the Approval Letter states that car purchase is allowed with a partial withdrawal, the applicant(s) can buy a new car in Malaysia with cash (not through a loan).

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FIXED DEPOSIT WITHDRAWAL FOR CAR PURCHASE IN MALAYSIA

  • Copy of the car registration paper (front and back) – Must include the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter.

  • Copy of the car invoice – Must include the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter.

  • Copy of the car payment receipt – Must include the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter.

  • Proof of payment – A bank statement showing the payment for your car purchase (must include the name of at least one applicant listed on the Approval Letter).

The processing time for partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal submission at the MM2H Centre is 1 working day. It will take at least 3 to 5 working days for the partial Fixed Deposit withdrawal to be approved. We will provide real-time updates on the status of the submission and approval.
