Import of Household Items & Pets
Under MM2H, you are entitled to bring in used household effects tax-free. We can help you clear Customs and we can probably do it cheaper for you. As for pets, we can help you get the import license, the paperwork and the physical process of getting the pet from the airport to your house/apartment. The pets may need to be quarantined. Import of Household Items
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR IMPORT OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

Verification Letter from License Issuer – Must exceed 1 year from the issued date).

Original MM2H Approval Letter.

Original & copy of current passport with valid MM2H visa on it.

Original & copy of driving license use for conversion – Must have more than 1 year validity.

(If applicant is not using the same nationality of driving license with its passport) Proof of stay of the license's country issuer.
Processing time for driving license conversion approval for JPJ is 30 to 45 working days (upon submission date), and driving license holder must physically present at JPJ throughtout the procress (no representative allowed).
Import of Pets (Cats & Dogs only)

Copy of Vaccination Card for the pet:

Rabbies Jab must be more than 4 months.​

Pets come in from Australia are required to get Distemper Vaccination and receive Hendra Test – Kindly send us a copy of the Hendra Test Result.

1 piece of pet's photo.

Confirmed flight ticket to Malaysia – Required to apply for Import Permit for pets.
NOTE: Import Permit has validity of 1 month only. -
Copy of Health Screening Result & Certificate of the pets – Health Screening has to be done 7 days before the departure date.
NOTE: Original Health Result & Certificate are required upon entering Penang International Airport.
Upon arrival, the pets are required to undergo quarantine of 7 days (15 days or more for Thailand, and 10 to 12 days or more for Australia). After the quarantine period, pets will be released to the owners (Pets enter from Australia must undergo another Hendra Test before they can be released to the owners.
